Get everyone moving. As an alternative to traditional board games, consider games like charades or Twister that will get everyone moving out of their seat. These games can be great choices for playing with children, who might otherwise struggle to sit still through a full board game.

The first and obvious answer is Sims series. You have a virtual dollhouse with characters. You can juggle finances (though this becomes easier as your character advanced through their career), raise families and dynasties... The other one I can think of is ... Guild series.

Simply put, you are given a task. It can be a puzzle, stacking up stuff, knocking over stuff. Anything. And as the name says you have one minute to perform a given task.
